Light changes everything.

It was this commune with nature and light that inspired me to take a snapshot with my phone of the terrain beneath my feet and how the light appeared below me and above me during one of my walks. The images continued to unfold, with each walk.

These 40+, 12” x 12” oil paintings are meant to be exhibited closely together. In this way, they begin to form an overall painting or language between one another. Shifting the order of the paintings can also shift the language and movement of the work. In the same way our walks change with the light, wind, air, and surface that carries us along our way.
